About us
“Le Nouveau Maquis” in French translates to “The New Shop/Restaurant“. In West Africa, many are accustomed to having small restaurants in different neighborhoods that provide the same taste they would receive in their own homes.
Le Nouveau Maquis , was founded by Togolese mother and daughter duo Fanta & Fabiola and has been serving the Atlanta area for nearly 10 years. Through their food, the restaurant is bringing back memories of the “back home taste” and the back home feel everyday.
“It’s not always possible for someone here to just get on a plane and take a flight back home but this restaurant offers you the best possible option to make you feel as if you were right on that corner restaurant in your neighborhood.”

My family and I enjoyed the food and service! We tried the traditional Jollof rice, Fufu, Egusi, Beef stew, Tilapia, Snapper and Grilled Chicken dishes. All hot and delicious! We’ll be back!
